Configuration Discovery

So you've decided to stay ahead of the competition and offer your customers Guest Wifi? Great!

The first step is to contact us and we'll discuss your requirements. In the process we will complete a Configuration Discovery so we can configure the equipment for you. We will also do some discovery about your business and any equipment you already have to ensure we build a compatible solution.

Generally the only requirements we need from you are:

  • An existing internet connection (preferably broadband).
  • One available network port per access point (eg, on your ADSL modem/router)
  • A suitable location to mount the access point(s).

For best performance we prefer to mount the access points "overhead" (eg, on the ceiling) and central to the area where most users will be, however this isn't always possible so we can discuss alternate options with you.

Rarely we discover at this point some "road block" issues that may need to be resolved prior to installation. Resolution of these issues may incur additional costs, however at this stage you will not be charged anything so you are free to "walk away" if we aren't able to complete installation. Of course we don't want to see this happen, so we will work with you to resolve any issues in a cost-effective manner!

Installation

Once we have completed the Configuration Discovery, we will configure the equipment required and arrange installation by one of our technicians. Installation should take no longer than an hour, and is usually much less.

After installation is complete, your Guest Wifi will be up and running!
